Boardwalk Bakery

If we get the dining plan, and go to the Boardwalk Bakery in the morning for coffee and a muffin, would that be a snack credit? We'll buy the mugs so the coffee would be free. I asked this on the Dining Plan board, but didn't get an answer! Just trying to make our breakfast plans for our July trip.

We got bagels and they were snack credits, DD14 also had eclairs & tiramisu for breakfast and they were snack credits as well.

They do have a pretty good breakfast panini that you can get as the entree of a CS meal

Their Paninis for lunch were fantastic.

On the 2007 DDP it was possible, if a bakery did not have a breakfast meal, to get 2 or 3 bakery items (some cashiers considered 2 items the entree + 1 more for "desert") and one drink (save a bottle of juice for later if you do not need it) for one table service meal credit. (which could feed a family if you got 3 cinnamon rolls). I know I did that at the MK bakery (on main street) and I thought I did that once at BWV. But the 2008 DDP is more different than previous years. I know they removed the ability to get a sleve of bagles or a little box of dougnuts as a snack from the general store as they chenged the description to single serving. You should be OK. (2007 snack used to be any food item below $4.)

I personally thought the panini was decent, but they are all made ahead of time, which bothered the rest of the group who would only like a plain ham, cheese, and bread with no sauce..

I believe coffee (if you had to pay for it) is a snack credit in and of itself, and then "select" pastries and breads are also counted as snack credits.

This is what I was told anyway, but we had so many snacks left when we left, we just used them for donuts and coffees and didn't really look at the count.

I've never seriously considered getting the DDP for any of our trips, but if I can get a Cinnamon Yummie - or a Boardwalk Bakery StickyBun with a snack credit, then SIGN ME UP!

We used a snack credit for the chocolate chip muffins during spring break and they were wonderful!
