Boardwalk Bakery Question

Hey all,
We are doing the Fantasmic Dinner package at H&V and then walking over to Boardwalk Marina to catch a Specialty cruise for Illuminations. I was thinking it would be very cool to stop at Boardwalk Bakery for some Drinks and dessert to take on the cruise. Does anyone know the hours of the bakery for this month (November 20 is the specialty cruise) ?

I don't know the exact hours, but I can tell you every evening/night we have walked around on the BW, the bakery has been open.

The last time we stayed at the Boardwalk, the bakery was open after walking back from Illuminations, so you should be able to enjoy what the bakery has to offer.

Make sure to try the eclairs. They are delicious and big enough for 2 people to share.

I think the bakery is open until 10 0r 11 pm. We have breakfast there all the time.

Just curious -- what time is your PS for H&V and what time is Fantasmic? I'm wondering how you are going to see both Fantasmic and Illuminations on the same night.

I'm pretty sure the bakery will be open but I'm not sure your specialty cruise "" will allow you to bring desserts and drinks on board. Disney sells packages for this...on a prior Illuminations cruise we had the "captain" request that the children in our group refrain from eating their dessert on board...we waited til after the cruise. I also know of a woman who wanted to have DD's birthday cake on the Illum Cruise and was told "no way"!

Also curious as to how you'll do both Fantasmic Dinner Pkg and Illum cruise...unless boat is picking you up at MGM??

Looks like Fantasmic is 7pm on 11/20 so I suppose it's doable to exit Fantasmic at ~7:30, walk to Boardwalk, wait in line to buy drinks and dessert at the Bakery, then board the Illuminations cruise by 8:30, but I personally wouldn't want to rush that much in one evening.

For a special occassion you might be safer to arrange a cake or something with your cruise, so you know you won't be asked to wait to enjoy your dessert. We've done this more than once - had a cake and soft drinks on our cruise. The prices were reasonable and the cake was packed up for us to take with us at the end.

I hear you all loud and clear on the food on the cruise. I have heard differing things on this. But mostly that if the food was purchased at Disney it wouldn't be an issue. We'll see. Maybe we'll just want coffee anyway

On the dinner and Fantasmic package then illuminations....

I was on the boards about this. Fantasmic is early this time of year (like 6:30) and only lasts about 30 minutes. We'll be out and within a mile walk of the boardwalk marina. Everyone assures me it's not a problem. I'm going to call to to see if the boat can pick us up at MGM. I had no clue there was a dock there. Never noticed it before.
