He anyone done lunch here?
I saw on the menu they had a few sandwiches. I am trying to find a QS location for our HS day and surprisingly coming up short.

The sandwiches are good here, IMHO. We usually stay at BW so have eaten here a few times for lunch. The down side is that the seating for it is out in front- and the area does not have a large number of tables. We usually get food to go and bring it back to the room.

For my family, QS in HS is pretzels & popcorn.

Broadway Bakery, I believe, has no seating. Sitting on a park bench on the Boardwalk or taking your food inside Boardwalk hotel are your only options.

Other options:
-- Dolphin has a QS 'buffeteria' and the Fountain for burgers and salads (etc.). Not going to be any more expensive than a Disney QS.
-- ESPN Zone to share wings and nachos (etc.). Rarely crowded at lunch (and that happens during some weekends during sporting events)

ESPN is not quick service- it is table service. There is also Big River Grille or Trattoria al Forno on the Bosrdwalk- also TS. Beaches and Cream at Beach Club is also a TS option. There are options at all of my these places (except maybe Trattoria?) for burgers or sandwiches. So if you are not on the dining plan, they are a viable option.

If you are using the DDP and need a QS, the bakery is a good value. As I said in my PP, there is limited outdoor seating (at actual tables). But you do have the option to find space anywhere on the boardwalk or in the hotel.

While there is no seating inside the bakery, there are a number of tables outside. We stayed above the bakery, overlooking that area last month and there were always empty tables. You shouldn't have a problem finding one. I find the bakery to be a great value on the dining plan - their sandwiches and desserts are great!

One of our favorites is Hurricane Hannah's- great cheeseburgers!/poolside dining at Beach Club :)

Boardwalk Bakery is great and a good value for a QS. Ditto what others said about lack of seating, but to be honest, I've never had a hard time finding a table. They're in the shade, so yeah...it might be hot, but it's manageable for a quick bite.

We enjoy lunch here too. They also have soup which was good. We didnt have a problem with the seating and the view is wonderful.
We had the lobster roll and roast beef sand and I think I had the fruit tart.

Boardwalk Bakery is a very popular spot with DIS'rs. It is a good value if on the DP. I've had so-so food here (loved the desserts) but not as excited about the lobster roll. It did have beautiful large chunks of lobster but mine had little flavour. I also have had rude/poor counter service x2 and not from young college kids but older, more experienced CMs who should know better. I've given it a pass lately but would likely pop in just to use a snack credit if on Fall free dining.

We enjoyed the Boardwalk Bakery. And we never had a problem finding a table outside. I had a pulled pork sandwich here and it was good. I'd consider it for an HS day. I've never been thrilled with the QS options at HS.

We enjoyed our meal there a few trips ago. I had a delicious lobster roll and my hubby had a really good pork sandwich. And of course you can't beat all their sweet treats.

We own @ BWV and stay there at least once every year. We like the bakery for desserts but never for lunch. I don't know how many are in your party or what their eating preferences are but if you have questions about the limited lunch menu you might find yourself stuck. At least at HS you can find different places if people have different tastes.

What about Starring Rolls? I haven't dined there yet, but it looks interesting as a QS lunch at DHS.

I'd avoid Starring, it's fine for a snack but nothing jumps out there as being good food.
QS at HS for us usually involves a boat ride to Epcot. TBH HS is tough to make a full day of. The bakery at BW is good enough, but the seating is rough, painful in the summer though. You always have The Writers Stop for a snack to hold you over.

We never really eat at QS at HS we have tried but good QS at HS is sorely missing. Sci-Fi is our spot for burgers and sandwiches, other than that we have grabbed breakfast pastry at starring rolls a few times to hold us over till lunch.

Over at Beach Club - you could go with Beaches and Cream soda shop, while this is a sit down option the burgers here are pretty good, and ice cream is really good. If your on the dinning plan you might want to pay OOP for this, its a fun time.

There is Splash grill and Picabu at the Swan and Dolphin, but if on the DDP this would be another out of pocket.

You could boat over to Epcot if you have park hoppers, it will bring you in the back gate, as you are walking up the hill to your left is England, and wonderful fish and chips at the Yorkshire county fish shop, there are covered tables outside on the water when at the counter look to your left they are kinda hidden. If you turn right at the top of the hill is France and Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie, and we enjoy their sandwiches and dessert. There are a lot of QS option at Epcot.

Also ESPN club might be a option if you are paying out of pocket, you could share some appetizers, then grab ice cream on the boardwalk for dessert. Our DD's loved doing this, they thought it was cool.

Hopefully once Star Wars land gets build and Toy Story land there will be some new and exciting offerings for QS at HS
