We have an ADR for Spoodles one night in August & was wondering what there might be to do on the Boardwalk after dinner? I have heard that there are various activities but are there certain ones on certain days at certain times?

We are booked to be there for an early dinner on a Friday. What activities might they have that might interest a mom with two boys, ages 10 & 12?

There are street performers that do magic tricks, sing, play music, etc out every night. You can see parts of illuminations at 9. You can get ice cream at Beaches n Cream.. lots of things to do and see. The boardwalk is a nice stroll as well :) There are arcades for the boys and drinks for the adults. There are some fun food kiosks as well.

You can rent a surrey bike and go up and down the Boardwalk and even over to Beach Club.

There are several of Carnival (Midway) games -- Basketball throw, watergun balloon race, baseball pitch knockdown, and a leapfrog game.

You could also take the Friendship boat down to Swan/Dolphin, DHS, Beach club, and back to Boardwalk.

There are street performers on weekends as well as outdoor "fair like" games. My kids usually like the basketball game. There are also indoor video games at ESPN club. Sometimes on Fri/Sat night there are dance parties on the lawn between BWI and BWV. The Boardwalk is always a busy place in the evenings but there are definitely many more options on the weekends. You do not need to preregister for anything, you just kind of walk around and stop at what ever grabs your attention. I have 2 teens, 14 & 17 and they love the boardwalk.

I love the Boardwalk for all the above reasons. It's a fun place to just hang out for the evening.

We have watched several performers, all were fun.

We have rented the Surrey Bikes a couple of times.

Walk over to Beaches and Cream for the best desserts ever. And don't be dissuaded when they tell you it's a 45 min wait, it's almost never that long and worth every minute.

My kids love playing the games and they both won basketballs at the basketball shooting game a couple of weeks ago.

I haven't seen the dance parties, that sounds like a great time.

I know this might sound silly...but I am staying at ASMo and was wondering if the kids could take their dads to the ESPN grill without staying at the Boardwalk....

Of course they can. Take the resort bus to Epcot and walk back through international gateway. Walk or take the friendship launch to the Boardwalk. If they are out late they may need to take a taxi back, but it only cost me 8 bucks to take a taxi to pop from that location.

All of these activities mentioned at the Boardwalk can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of which hotel you are staying at.
