I booked a stay for Boardwalk resort on a 3rd party site and linked it already to My Disney experience. My original booking was for 2 people but now we will be 4 people. Any idea if I should work directly with Boardwalk now to add guests or still with the original booking service?

An alternative would be to add them when you arrive at the resort. That can be preferable if you’re on a package with tickets or the dining plan and your additional guests don’t want the tickets or dining plan. Package rules require everyone on the reservation to have the same package if you’re adding them in advance, but if you add them on arrival, they don’t need to be on the package.

If it's through Priceline, check out the thread re: Priceline deals. I seem to recall that you can only book for 2 via PL, but then call the resort once the info is in MDE and update it to 4 people.

There really is no direct number for you to call to reach the Boardwalk or any of the other Disney resorts directly. All calls are routed to a call center. Even if you see a phone number for an individual resort, the call still goes to a call center. Most resorts share a "call center" number with another resort.

As mentioned above your reservation is owned by a third party and they should contact Disney to update the reservation. If you want to contact Disney directly, you can always call Disney Wholesale department at 407-939-7671 to add your two additional guests.
