I've noticed in the new member handbook that the picture of the studio shows a picture of the room with a bench instead of a table w/chairs.
Is this a studio that is a lock off for a two bedroom? I am staying in a two bedroom and would prefer this instead of the table. Anyone know if all the lock offs are this way or if I need to ask at check in? Also, approx how long do you think it is? Thanks

I don't have the vacation planner handy, but it sounds like what you are describing is the "day bed" that some of the BWV studios have. I don't know how many studios, or what view type they are, but it seems to me that at least some of them are in the Standard View section.

Someone else might know more details, but I thought I'd throw out the description of day bed as that is what it is commonly called on these boards. :)

I saw the bench too. It was closer to the kitchen-like banquette seating.

Granny,it didn't look like a daybed. It didn't have the same type of back as the daybeds.

I havent looked at the picture but I just stayed in a BWV studio this summer and it had a bench/daybed , but this was with the table and chairs . The table and chairs are moved to where the connecting door would be for the lock off of the 1 bedroom but it wasnt a connecting room so thats how they fit more furniture in the room.

The rooms with the daybeds are dedicated studios, cannot be combined to make a lockoff. The daybed is where the lockoff door would be.

Thanks, Debbie B; that answers my question--no bench (daybed) in a 2 bedroom. Just think the little table is redundant in the 2nd bedroom. A bench would be more practical.

The table isn't redundant when that space becomes a studio. It actually becomes a necessity. There are no dedicated two bedroom villas at BWV.
