What does everybody on the first day of the cruise starting with arriving at the terminal and ending with the Muster drill. I have only been to PC once and so I don't have an efficient process yet. Any suggestions? pirate:

We look at embarktion day as a day of our vacation and cruise, so we get there asap. We just got off a 5 day, and we were at the port by about 10:30am. We checked in, checked our DD into the kids clubs right in the terminal. We got our family picture with Minnie Mouse. We camped out in front of a tv and watched Disney cartoons. We also met a few other DISers in the terminal. (We live in central FL, and usually have family drive us to the port day of. This time we went a day early and stayed at Country Inn & Suites-free parking and shuttle-extra day of vacation.)

Once onboard we always head straight up to Beach Blanket/Topsiders for lunch. This cruise, after lunch DD was the very first kid in the Mickey pool and down the slide. Somewhere around 2pm we headed to drop our carry ons off in the stateroom, and to decorate our door with our magnets and FE. We headed to Wavebands to double check our Palo times-we had originally thought to move dinner from pirate night, but decided to keep it. Then we head to the kids clubs so DD coould play a bit, and even DH could play some computer games-great family time! Then we headed to stateroom to get ready for muster drill, grabbing luggage delivered and unpacking as quick as possible.

Have fun!

I was thinking of doing the same thing this december. When you arrive at 10:30am what time do you board? We want to enjoy as much as we can.

Boarding is usually around 11:45 to noon and of course the lower your boarding number the sooner you get on.

We love to get to port and soak in all of the atmosphere, go out on the deck to take pictures with the ship behind us and just relax knowing we are there. Once on board, we prefer to go to Parrot Cay for lunch. Then if it's time, we head to the rooms to drop off carry-ons. If it's not time, we walk around deck, etc. After hitting the rooms, we explore!!!!! It's fun just walking around the ship seeing the old spots and knowing we are there! Sometimes we head back to the room and unpack if the suitcases are delivered early. Before you know it, muster drill...

Sorry if this question is off topic a little, but it has some to do with the thread. When you check in at the terminal can you drop off luggage, so that Disney will take care of getting it onboard? Sorry if it's a stupid question!! Last time we cruised, we transferred from WDW to PC and Disney took care of everything.

What all is there to do in the terminal while you wait? Last time my husband and I just walked through the terminal and onto the ship. If you get there at 10:30 when registration begins, what do you do while you wait to board the ship? Thanks!

When you drive up non-disney porters will take up to two bags per person. So make sure you put those tags on before you arrive.

In the terminal there is a snack bar and several TV's with Disney Cartoons. There are also some display cases with some interesting artifacts. pirate:

Also how do people like the airport to cruise transfers? We've only dome the ones to he resort. pirate:
