Board Walk Refurb Still going On?

When looking at my BW ressie on MDE this notice still shows, what's the status now?

Upon your arrival, you will notice several Resort refurbishments in process including routine exterior maintenance and painting. It is possible that you may experience noise; however, work with the highest potential for noise will be limited to the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Due to limited parking availability at Disney's BoardWalk Inn, we highly recommend that all Disney Resort hotel Guests take advantage of our complimentary transportation options. Be advised that self-parking may not be available for Guests arriving in their own vehicles—valet parking may be the only option. Guests visiting Epcot are encouraged to utilize the Epcot Guest Parking Lot.

Refurbishment Notice
In an ongoing effort to improve the quality of our facilities and offerings, some of our Resort locations are currently being refreshed. To avoid damage to personal items due to painting or exterior construction, we suggest that you bring all personal belongings from your patio or balcony inside during the work hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please pardon our pixie dust while we make more magic!

There is some refurb still going on. We were there about 2 weeks ago. Honestly besides seeing a couple of trucks as we were walking to the smaller pool by the community room I never heard or saw a thing. I almost forgot that it was going on when we were there until that day.

We are going in mid November to the villas and just got a notice that there would be construction and a lot of extra noise while we were there

Did you get notified by email or mail or are you referring to the general notice on the Disney site that I pasted to my post? Previous answers lead me to believe that things are mostly winding down and minor.

we're here at the minute and they're painting outside on the Inn side. We're on the fourth floor on the DVC side and there are at least 8 rooms being fully refurbishes, we can hear drilling and banging when we walk past. We're not near these rooms so not been affected.

Our reservations are linked but only my daughter got an e-mail from the General Manager of the BW only about a week ago!

Are there any indications it will still be going on mid-november? If so, there are areas you can request without noise, etc? Thank you!

The Boardwalk refurb will never, ever end.

You can try requesting away from refurb, but aside from rooms out of use due to work on them specifically, assignors have limited data.

We really want to stay in the Village Green area and since we're rarely there in the daytime we'll put up with some disturbance then.

Just back. Looks like they are putting up a fence around clown pool.

Anybody have a rough idea when the entire project will be done? We were there in April 2015-powerwashing/painting outside our balcony, July 2016-construction below our balcony on the Village Green & the quiet pool area on the Inn side anything but quiet w/ cherry pickers, painting, etc. Now we are hoping to go in April 2017 & are hoping things will be back to normal......

EDIT: It seems construction has been amped up since we left. I'd delete my post but it won't let me.

We were there in mid August and didn't notice much work at all. They were doing work by the small pool so anyone who had a room there would hear some jack hammering during the day but we faced the big clown pool and never even thought about it.

My friend and I had just stayed at the Inn side sept 17-21. Our room was a standard view and overlooked the courtyard and they had several cranes out there and workers starting around 8am. Definitely was loud enough to wake us up. Not sure how long that was going on for but wasn't really too pleased with that when we wanted to sleep in a bit.

Oh dear. Our stay isn't until May 2017. I really hope all the work is finished by then.

We are at Boardwalk Inn and Yacht Club from 11/5-11/13 and we received letters from each resort today stating the above.
