DW and I stayed at the BWI in September of 2001. We both have our favorite resorts; mine is the Contemporary, while hers is the Polynesian. We have determined that while those two resorts are our
individual favorites, the BWI is our
family favorite. The inn is the smallest hotel on property, with just under 400 rooms. It features elegant and luxurious public area, and beautiful hotel rooms. Each room features a balcony. Also, the BWI standard room may well feature the best view on property for a standard room. Where else do you have a glimpse of a theme park from your balcony in the cheapest room offered at a resort? The quiet pool at the BWI is large and secluded; DW and I loved it. The restaurant choices, both at and near the resort, are excellent. The nightlife is matched by no other resort on property. The only thing this resort is missing is a marina, but that is only a 5 or 10 minute walk away at the YC. Throw in a monorail, and you'd have
the best resort at WDW IMHO.
