Board Games...which are best..

Scattagories has always been my favorite!!
Battleship is fun, monopoly if you have ALOT of time and Clue can be entertaining :)
I like Scrabble...but no one will play with me.. LOL

Aww, it is sweet. I like it, too. ;) Her friends will come over and we'll have game night with them, too.

She still likes to color in coloring books, as well. One day, she had 3 girls and 4 boys over to our house. They were in our basement family rooms so I kept going down (offering snacks and drinks, etc) to make sure they were not doing anything they oughtn't.

At one point, I came downstairs and it was really quiet and I thought they were up to something. Imagine my surprise when I walked in and found eight 16 year olds watching a Disney movie and coloring. :rotfl: I came back up and told DH that I was just too cynical.

I LOVE IT!:goodvibes :rotfl:

Yahtzee, Apples to Apples, Boggle, Uno, Cribbage, Trouble, Connect Four, and Mancala are our current favorites.

Denae

I always liked "Go To The Head Of The Class".. My kids really enjoyed it because there were questions for every age group..

Lots of the ones already mentioned but when my girls were that age they loved Pretty, Pretty Princess. You just can't beat seeing your husband with dangly earrings, pearls, and a tiara! :lmao:

We still love some of the older ones like Mall Madness. For card games, Suds was a big hit, and when your DD is older, Canasta Caliente and Dutch Blitz are tons of fun.

Uncle Wiggly, WaterWorks and Uno are some of our favorites.

Also Life, Sorry and Aggravation

We like a card game called Joker Rummy that relatives in Canada introduced us to. Had to order it online because I couldn't find it in the states. Might be too complicated for kids under 10.

Also love a "tile" type game called Qwirkle. Easy to learn, but involves a bit of strategic thinking. We've had kids as young as 6 play this. Ordered it through "Mindware", I think.

Oh, almost forgot. Kids also like a board game called 1313 Dead End Drive, although I can't say it's one of my favorites.

We like Mad Gab, and the already many times mentioned Apples to Apples (which also has a junior version for younger players).

Anything Disney, duh!
Life, Monopoly, Clue, Scrabble, Imaginiff, and one game I can't remember. (Cranium perhaps?)

The Magic Kingdom, Life, Trouble, Boggle (though DS can't do this one yet), Sequence, Disney Trivial Pursuit & Scene It, Whoonu and Cranium's Family Fun.

Our favorite card games right now are Quiddler and Uno Attack.
