BOARD DOWN TIME-- TONIGHT Dec 5

The site will be going down this evening at 10PM (EST) for some software upgrades. The down time is expected to last for several hours.

Regardless, are they going to fix the clock??!! Been driving me nuts that it's an hour off! (esp. since I'm Central time so for me, it's TWO hours off)

I have NO IDEA why I put the 12th. I am going to blame old age and lack of coffee.

As for the clock. . I have been here for over 6 years and it has NEVER been right! Through several upgrades, many updates and adjustments and the clock has never been able to be fixed! After a few years you get used to just never ever looking at the time of posts!

I don't know about anyone else but I haven't been able to access the text color feature for months. I click the down arrow and all I get is a small white box. I actually remember a few of the color names so I manually type it in when I want it.

You need to post that on the Tech Support board, found near the bottom of the main forum page. This thread is just to announce the down time. None of the webmasters will read this.

The clock issues is actually a long running joke with long time members so that is why I was able to answer her question. Other problems need to be posted on the Tech Board where the Webmasters may actually see them.

So, did you all send out a blank e-mail from boards @ disboards.com just to get me to come here to see that the site will be down tonight? Or was there actually supposed to be something in that e-mail? I'm very curious!
