I heard somoewhere about the blue zoo rest. what is that exactly? Where is it?

Todd English's Bluezoo, located at the Dolphin resort.

Upscale kinda contemporary fresh seafood sort of place. Expensive as heck but good.

It is expensive but probably the best meal we have ever eaten in WDW. I do not know if kids are allowed or not but there were definitely no kids when we were there.

I've seen kids there. I would not call it child-friendly. Doesn't seem like the kind of place where they can get boisterous.

According to allearsnet, though, they do have a kids' menu.

I agree with TDC Nala. And we did see a few kids when we ate at the Zoo last trip. We're going again for dinner on 10/2!!
