I am a DDE card holder and unfortunately, bluezoo does not accept this discount. Is bluezoo worth the trip even without the DDE discount?

I already have ADRs at Narccoossee's and CA Grill. Am I better of going to Flying Fish or another restaurant that accepts DDE? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

NOTE: V&A is out of the question...it's a long story, don't ask. :sad2:

Thanks all!

If $$ is the main object, you will of course be better off at FF. And FF is a fine restaurant in it's own right. It's our traditional "last night" dinner each trip.

We've been to the ZOO 5 times and like it a lot. I guess the best thing to do is check each menu and see if one or the other calls to you.

I must say that bluezoo is the best seafood restaurant on property! No, they don't take the DDP or DDE...but from my two experiences it was well worth it!:yay:

We love Blue Zoo, dont' mind not using our DDE for it there. It is worth it.

We also love Flying Fish..it is fantastic as well.

You will love either, try one this time and one next trip!

Two things matter a bit more than the $$:

1) Will FF have a lot of children? This will be just the two of us, so we would rather not have a lot of kids in the dining room; I am not sure if this is an issue in FF or not. (We have accepted the fact that there will be children at our other ADRs)

2) The ability to pull their respective dishes off; who does it better?

Thanks!

1 - In our experience, on average, FF has more children in the dining room than BlueZoo does. Not swamped by any means, but just more, when compared to BlueZoo.

2 - Both places do well with their signature dishes. I would have to give the edge to FF, based on consistency of food during our past few visits.

Bluezoo is ourt absolute favorite. Works great for us that they provide child care too! It has been a must since our first time. We have been 4 x since

They provide childcare for diners at Bluezoo? Or is it just for those staying at the Dolphin hotel? :goodvibes

I perfer FF over bluezoo. I think the dishes are better executed and I love the atmosphere of the Boardwalk.
Bluezoo is a good restaurant it is MUCH more adult oriented than FF. It does not have that Disney feeling but reminds me of just about any other upscale hotel restauant with a lot of business travelers.

I really do not like the Bluezoo: I think it is horribly loud. The food is excellent but the ambience really turned me off. My fiance's family loves the Bluezoo though. I personally would suggest reservations at Citricos (which we all love).
