My choice would be Bistro, make a 7:30, then get there really early and say you want a window table. They dim the lights and pipe in the sound for Illuminations. It is also a lovely walk back across the park after the crowds have thinned. Get a "roady" glass of champagne. Of all the WDW restaurants, and we have checked out most, this restaurant is the smallest and least crazy. The food is traditional old French. If you just want steak and potatoes, this will not be to your liking. I'm not a huge fan of this type of cooking but have always liked everything I have had there. The wines are nice. The service is usually very knowledgeable and some of the best at WDW.
