Has anyone eaten here recently. I have been wanting to try it, but not sure if it's worth the money.

We ate there with some friends on the 23rd ... the food was excellent as it was the year before we when had dinner at BZ with some other friends. It is pricey but has always been worth the expense in our opinion. Very good food with inventive presentation and nice service in a grown up environment. :thumbsup2

I eat here every time I go to Disney.

I always enjoy it, but it is pricey.

The 2Lb Cantonese lobster is very good, but it is $60 , so it should be.

The daily whole fish is always good.

I really like the bread and the shake and bake fries.

Sometimes I just stop in for the Maytag Blue Cheese martini and an order of the fries.

We ate there for the first time on October 17th to celebrate my birthday and it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I don't know if it was above and beyond good because we were starving or what, but it was fantastic. Cool looking restaurant, probably the best service I've ever had, awesome food, quiet, no kids at the time of our ressie---I loved everything about it, so much that I booked it again for our trip in December.

Is it worth the money? I guess that depends on what kind of dinner you are looking for. For us, it was totally worth the money and not CRAZY expensive, something like $90-$100 total with tip included for two of us.

Here is a link to a dining review that I just did on bluezoo, with pictures, ratings and descriptions of each dish we ordered.

HTH!

WE ate there this Summer for my son's 10th b-day and all of us were blown away. We are a fine dining family and BZ did not disappoint from start to finish. Definitely one of our top 3 meals in over 40 trips to WDW. We will make sure we go back as a place like this needs to experienced more than one.

The night we were there it was almost totally empty and that is a surprise to us. Having tried the Disney signature dining establishments, none of them except V&A were close to the meal at BZ.

Thanks for the replies. I feel better about trying it. I don't mind paying alot of money if it's worth it. Narcoossee's is my favorite, and it is more than worth it. There's six of us so if I spend $300 for a meal I want it to be great.

We were there about a week ago, and we loved it. We were very impressed, and have added it to our must do list. It was a little loud, but the service and the food quality were both outstanding.

This is not a particularly kid friendly place, btw. Think fairly loud rock and roll, bar servers in very skimpy outfits, lots of alcohol, and high end foodie food. There were a few children present early in the evening, but as the evening progressed, I don't remember seeing any young children. We had planned to take our DS with us (he goes with us to high end restaurants, and generally behaves well), but my DM and DSF decided they were too tired to accompany us and offered to keep him back at the room. We turned out to be very glad that they'd kept him, since it let us have a long, relaxing meal.

It was definitely one of the best meals we've had at WDW.

BZ was bar far the BEST dining experience I have ever had in WDW!! CG and FF are right up there but BZ was just amazing. Each and every bite (I had filet!) was fabulous! We did not have our boys the night we dined there but I did notice a few younger children.....very well behaved. This was a "adult only" night for us to celebrate our anniversary. It was pricey but for a meal that enjoyable we are more than willing to pay the $$$!! Oh and....the kids were in the kids club at the Dolphin. For each paying adult at one of their restaraunts we received 2 free hours at the kids club...just had to show them our dinner receipt!

ENJOY if you go...can't imagine that you would be anything less than thrilled with your dining experience!

We were there last Tues. It remains our favorite restaurant in WDW. Flying Fish came in a close second. We had the Chowder, the Cantonese Lobster & the Filet. All perfectly prepared & presented.

The service, atmosphere & food are all excellent. We often eat in the Lounge area since we like to just pop in when the mood strikes. You can get a full menu or a lounge menu there. The main dining room is a little more special tho.

Try the Zooberry Martini. It's to die for!

We've dined there 3 times in the past year and have never seen children there. We are planning on bringing our grandchild there for NYE next year. I at dining at BZ with a family of six for $300.00 would be a bit of a challenge unless everyone is sharing a meal and there is very little alcohol.
On all three occasions the service was a bit inconsistent but the food was wonderful, time was not of the essence for us.

That's amazing ... we were eating in the bar on the 23rd of October and there was more than one family in there with kids. We saw that on several occasions on this last trip - very strange. :confused3

DH and I dined here September of 2009. As I recall, it was good but very pricey. I had the lobster and although it was ok it was not my favorite. Lobster is good on its own with just a little butter on the side. The sauce on the lobster was a little over powering. We were disappointed because the table next to us included four adults and a baby that cried and screamed for most of our meal. It was after 8:30pm when we dined so I was not expecting this at all. Several times a waiter approched the table asking if they could help in some way. You think the adults would have taken this as a hint that they were disrupting the customers! Apparently the baby was cold because the grandmother was trying to cover the baby with the table napkins. :confused3 But at no time did any of the adults leave the restaurant with the upset baby.

Anyway, I don't know if I would dine there again. We really prefer Fultons for good seafood.
