Just curious we are planning our disney dining and have heard about Blue Zoo. What is this restaurant like, is there a dress code. We love the Victoria and Albert and Brown Derby, do you think we would like it here. Any information we would love, ie what is the ambience and of course what is the food like.

Thanks.

I hemmed and hawed about going there, but in the end I decided not to because we are already having so many TS meals and they don't take DDE. They have their own website - I found the menus on other sites to be outdated. I just did a Google search and was able to see a current menu, info, etc.:)

I really enjoyed bluezoo. I think if you like fish at all, you have to give it a shot. The lights are very dim in the resturant, but it's a cool atmosphere. I don't know about a dress code, but you wouldn't want to walk in looking too grubby. You'd feel out of place, I think. But I don't remember getting specifically dressed up either. The scallop appetizer and chilean sea bass I had were just outstanding!! :D

The food has been very good when I've been there.

No dress code that I know of. When I have been in the dining room there have been many families with young kids.

Bluezoo doesn't take DDE or DDP, and they don't give DVC member discounts (many of the Swolphin restaurants do, but they don't.)

IMO, it is currently the best restaurant at WDW.:thumbsup2 (excluding V&A's).

When I made my ADR for my upcoming trip they did mention a business casual dress code. I have never been there but heard rave reviews.

It's a nice spot--we've been 3 or 4 times now. As far as I know, they have the same relaxed "business casual" code as the Disney Signature restaurants. So no need to get all dressed up if you really don't want to.
It has more of an adult ambiance than many WDW spots, but of course you WILL see kids there.

Blue Zoo is a Todd English restaurant.

The food and service have always been wonderful when we are there.

Dress code is resort/business casual.

Atmosphere very nice, the place glows blue from the sunset in the evenings,
it is quite beautiful.
