CARS is arguably the single most profitable brand that Disney has right now after Winnie the Pooh.

The merchandising revenue that CARS pulls in is absolutely insane - it's a gold mine - and it shows no signs of stopping. Even two years after the film, Mattel's line of CARS toys is one of the best-selling toy lines in the United States, up there with Hot Wheels, Barbie, and LEGO.

Plus, starting next week CARS hits the small screen on Disney Channel with original shorts.

The idea of a Cars land appeals to me and I'm not even "into" cars in general. I love the movie and I think they can do neat things with it if done right.

I do agree about the carnival rides. They are everywhere and I've actually never gone on them there because they don't seem that interesting to me. They also are rather slow loading so I don't want to wait in line that long for it. I've done Mulholland Madness twice and I don't like it. Too high and scarry!

I happen to LOVE cars and watch it often...probably because my son and DH insist on it lol But I think a land will be nice...it may not appeal to most adults but most lil kids (most boys) seem to love this movie

Yeah, I was thinking that maybe the Cars land was to help give another "boy" attraction since there's so much pink/princess stuff around.

Uggg...I hate Mulholland Madness. I thought for sure they would be taking that out with the re-design. Like the other carnival rides, it just doesn't have the disney feel to it. It also gave me a headache.
