Blue Moon Door

I remember seeing a door with a blue moon and background in fantasy land, maybe on the train ride, which was the exact same design Kingdom Hearts 1 had in the cave under traverse town, although the design in the game also changed to a sun. What does this blue door mean? and maybe what does the sun mean?
