Hi

I hear that Blue Man Group are appearing at Universal from June 7th.
Does anyone know anything about them? We saw Cirque Du Soleil last year and thought it was great. Do you think we should see Blue Man Group when we visit universal in July? We have an 11 and 13 year old.

Thanks

Hey, Ann!

We've seen Blue Man Group on PBS Specials only. Seems very entertaining so we have our tickets already for the front row. If you want to see more about them, check out Their official site at: http://www.BlueMan.com. They have some videos so you and your kids can see what it's like.

Here is Universal Page on the show: http://www.universalorlando.com/bmg_overview.html

Tickets are:
Adult
Afternoons @ 6pm: $45.00 - $55.00 + tax
Evenings @ 9pm: $59.00 - $69.00 + tax

Child (Ages 3- 9)
Afternoons @ 6pm: $39.00 - $45.00 + tax
Evenings @ 9pm: $49.00 - $59.00 + tax

From what I understand, there are still plenty of good seats. If you get tickets, careful of the front section which isn't called the Poncho Zone for nothing.

I've got some information on them at Universal with a layout of the theater at: http://www.discoveruniversalstudios.com/attractions/bluemangroup.cfm

Hope this helps!

I saw Blue Man Group in Las Vegas at The Luxor and I thought they were excellent, the best $110 per ticket I've spent. I initiallt thought it was too expensive but it was such a unique show. I'll definately be going to see them at Universal in August.

The show is a definite "Must See". I saw them in Vegas in 2000 and have since referred so many people and to date - not a single disappointed person. :thumbsup2

I also have my tickets for opening weekend and am looking forward to it!

Do you know exactly where the theatre is located?

The theater will be located inside the old Nickelodeon Studios Soundstage, currently part of USF park behind Jimmy Neutron. When the building is done, they will have moved the HArd Rock gate to just after the Jimmy Neutron ride, thus making the Nick Studios building part of Citywalk now rather than part of USF.

YOu will be able to access the Blue Man building either via Citywalk, to the right of Hard Rock Live or thru USF itself in between the Merchandise store and Jimmy Neutron.

The latest update of ioacentral.com has a few pics of the BMG building and pathway.
