BLue Man group seating

Planning on taking my family to see the BMG show in July. Does it matter if we get tier 1 or tier 2 seats? there are 5 of us, so the price difference adds up, but if the tier 2 seats are not good then i will spend the extra money. 2 of my kids are college students and I was thinking about waiting to the day of for them to get 4 tickets with the student rush discount, but don't know if I should take the chance and wait as the SR tickets may not be available. Any advice on that would also be appreciated. Thnx!
