Is it worth the $30 per person? Are there things to do other than lay on the beach, play in the water?

Yeah, dolphin encounter or swim with the dolphin, or better yet watch them do it.

If I were you just do an Atlantis resort tour.

Can you tell me why the Atlantis tour is better? Keep in mind, I'll have my DS (13) with me.

I dunno, that was only a suggestion.

Wifey and I did the Disney Wonder trip last December. Wifey booked herself for the dolphin encounter (kinda expensive) and she loved it, While I watched her do it. Back then the prize for the Blue Lagoon Beach day was $35.00 per person.

Remember, if you do the beach day, you guys are gonna wisked away on another island about 45 minute boat ride. Lunch is included on that prize.

While on the Atlantis Resort thingy, you guys could take a taxi to get there. It is just another nice Hotel and Casino resort.

I just double-checked my prices...Blue Lagoon is $38 per person. Atlantis Beach Day is $60 per person and doesn't include pools or slides. Since I'll have my son with me, I'm afraid he'll be bored. I didn't want to just walk around Nassau, so I was looking for alternatives.

I'd love to do the Dolphin Encounter, but at $113.50 per person, I'm not sure it's worth it.
