Is this a good shore excursion for a teen in a wheelchair? We will be visiting the Bahamas on the Disney Dream in June and were curious? Thank you for any info!
Is he/she able to transfer and walk a few steps? If so, she'll probably be fine. I believe there are points with steps and the chair would need to be folded or otherwise lifted. This is part of DCL's description:
Wheelchairs need to be standard size and collapsible. No electric wheelchairs or scooters are permitted. Guests must be able to board and disembark the vessel on their own.
Guests must have the ability to go up and down steps and ramps to access the platform.
