DM and I are going to be cruising on the 05/12 Wonder and we're considering taking this day trip.. Has anyone else tried it? Got any reviews/photos?? Any help will be,as ever, greatly appreciated!!! :flower1:

Our family had a great time on this excursion last year! We happened to go on a day that we practically had the beach to ourselves!! It is a beautiful island (kind of a long ferry ride to get there...maybe 45 min or so) with a little bit of shopping, some water equipment rentals, cute little hermit crabs and wonderfully abundant hammocks! We didn't care for the food at all, but we so enjoyed this peaceful and relaxing day that the bad food didn't matter at all! This was actually the first time my kids, DS5 and DD 7 had ever been to a beach on the ocean...what a great first experience!
Sorry I have no pictures as we used our disposable camera for this excursion. We have picture after picture of everyone in our family trying out the hammocks...these were the pictures from our trip that made everyone long for a vacation!!!

Sounds great!! From the on-board menus I've read, we'll probably be too full to eat much at Blue Lagoon anyway!! Thanks for your help, Rainbowsteph..

Yes, we did Blue Lagoon day in September.

We all loved it! The lagoon is a nice little inlet that is only about 4 feet at its deepest. The water was very mild and calm. There were some little tropical fish at the far end of the lagoon (you can walk across!) and my kids loved putting on masks and checking them out.

We had a great time there and yes, the food was bad - LOL!
