Blue Goose Trip

:headache: Ow! I hurt myself bumping this up!

I just found out that there is now a single rider line for Rock n Roller Coaster (my favorite ride at WDW, with Dinosaur a close second) . This makes me :) because I plan to go to MGM one evening before the rest of y'all arrive and the only thing I really like to do there is ride RnR (and maybe ToT once or twice) So, looks like this will make it easier for me to do this before I run over to Fantasmic.

So, what are your favorite, don't want to miss rides and attractions?
Hi Christine!

I do not go on anything that will put me upside down. :rolleyes1
I've been on ToT but I don't really like it. And I didn't do EE last time, so I can't say anything about that one. :confused3

Do you get the sense I am a tad boring? :lmao:

My fave ride is Splash Mountain. I love that ride. I could do it over and over again and never get bored. :)

I would not say boring--but maybe we are not all that ride compatible. I like Splash as well, but I am bad and can't help comparing it to Dudley Do Right's over at Islands of Adventure! Perhaps we can do a show together. I really like Its Tough to Be a Bug and Philharmagic. Oh, I forgot to mention that I like Soarin' as well, but it only bumps up to "great ride" if you are in the front row.

Do you like rides like Haunted Mansion? Slower ones like that?

I love Soarin'!! I've been on the one at California Adventure many times. I like it because I've been to every scene in there and it just reminds me of home. :)

I saw Philharmagic for the first time on the last ladies trip. Loved it. I also like the Lion King show and am really looking forward to seeing the new Nemo show.

There are alot of the ladies who like ToT and RnR, so I am sure you will have no problem finding someone to ride it with.
I'll stay behind and hold everyone's purse for them. :thumbsup2

As a matter of fact, I do like the Haunted Mansion! And let me not forget to mention that I really like Jungle Cruise as well.

Sometimes I go over to MK on the bus, ride the Haunted Mansion and leave the park.

I'll ride anything but that's my favorite.

Airfare is getting scary with the gas prices up.

I checked airfare for my husband and I for our Universal and my ladies only trip in Oct/Nov. I am kicking myself that I did not book it last week at $295. I heard the major airlines had raised prices by about $10 with the gas prices on the rise, but when I checked, to book the same flights today that I could have booked last week will cost $370! I sure hope they come down when the gas prices do!

Holy crap!! :scared1: :scared:

I was sure I'd be able to get a good deal out of Vegas and now with that not looking like it's going to happen, I am stuck flying out of Traverse City again.

Last year my ticket cost me $348. And I had to change planes in Detroit. It sucks!!

I'm scared to find out what they are now...... :sad2:

Well, I just checked airfare out of curiosity.

I could get a ticket for $298 on Ted but I'd have to transfer twice! Once in Chicago and again in Washington. That is not going to happen.

If I just want to transfer in Detroit on Northwest it's $335. But I flew Northwest last time and wasn't impressed.

But at least it's not too horrible right now. It's not great, but it's about what I paid last time.

Airfare is over 200 for me right now so I will wait...

Southwest hasn't opened up past Nov 2nd yet but the flight down is at $77 right now.

Teresa, where do you fly out of? Detroit??

If so, maybe we could arrange to meet up in the airport and take the same flight out. That would be fun. I hate to fly alone. :scared1: :sad2:

That's good! Isn't it? LOL Well, it sound damn good to me. I just know I am going to end up at over $300 round trip again. Maybe over $350 even.

Oh, and the times I'm seeing so far, suck!!

Teresa, what airline do you usually fly out of Detroit?

Last time I was on Northwest and paid about $348. The times were awesome though.

I left Traverse City at around 7 a.m. and was in Orlando around 1:00 or so.

All the times I've come across so far suck. I want to get in as early as possible.

I don't know. It would be cool if it worked out. At least I wouldn't have to sit next to some weirdo on the plane. :scared:
You're not too weird are you?? :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

I usually fly spirit or nwa..

I checked JetBlue the other day--still the same as it was last year. I put in for the vacation days the other day--hopefully the new supervisior will just OK and move on....then I will buy my plane ticket.

I may have a situation--I'm not sure yet. They changed the days of the World Series. If it goes to 7 games (the maximum), the 7th game would be on November 1st. So if the Mets make it to the WS, if there is a 7th game, I will have dinner somewhere, and then head back to my room to watch the game. And no, I don't want to go somewhere & watch--I want to watch by myself. If they win, then I will go out & celebrate--but if they lose--I will want to go to the parks every day & forget about it.
