Blue Goose Trip

OMG Halloween at WDW I am so jealous... I at least will get to see some of the decorations when I get there on the 1st right?

Okay, this makes me laugh because I am actually kind of bummed that it will be Halloween while I am there! I am not interested in the Halloween event at MK and the other parks close pretty early. I hear AC is a wild time that night, so I might try to get in over there.

Beth--in looking at the first page and the menus, I am thinking I may skip the dining and meet at Tambu on Thursday and Jelly Rolls on Saturday. I guess once you have the ADR times we can approximate what time to get to the after dinner spots.

Beth, I really hope you will be able to make it for the entire trip. :wizard: I know you have a lot going on, so I will understand if you can't.
Thanks Jenna. I am still hoping too, I just don't want to make any real plans for those days with ADR's or tours in case it doesn't work out. Hope for the best, but plan for the worst right? lol

:grouphug: I hope things work out the way you want them to, Beth!
Thanks, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. :thumbsup2

I don't know anything about any of the other tours?:confused3
OKay I have to say the Keys to the Kingdom tour was awesome. Very good. I don't think any of us that went on it could say a bad thing about it.

It gets a little long at the end, so wear your walking shoes if you take it, but I think everyone would recommend it. At least they all said they liked it at the time.

And it's a good one to do without kids because you have to be 16 to take it.

Also if you have a Disney Visa card or AAA you can get a discounted rate. There is limited space on the tour so book as soon as you can. Even if you aren't sure just book it anyways, because you have up to 48 hours beforehand to cancel without penalty. At least you did last year.

Each person has to book their own tour because you need to pay for it upfront. But those who are interested can pick a day and time and everyone call and ask for that time. That's how we did it last year and it worked well.

The tour also includes lunch and some bottled water to carry with you if you want. And each person has their own personal listening system so you can hear the tour guide no matter where you are in the group.

Here is more info on it: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/parks/tourDetail?id=KeystotheKingdomTourPage&print=true&bhcp=1

I hope some of you will decide to do it this time around. You'll really like it. :thumbsup2

OKay that's fine. Kona on Thursday and Spoodles on Saturday are just places I want to go.

Certainly anyone is welcome to make other ADR's and I'll add them to the front. Not everyone has to eat at the same places all the time.

And meeting up after for drinks at Tambu or for some fun at Jellyrolls is also an option. Once I know the times, I will be sure to post them. :thumbsup2

Your welcome. And that's good!

Wait, sent the link to who? I'm so confused. :lmao:

I think Theresa said her aunt might be coming too.

Now I am thinking I won't do the meal plan, so that is why I have said I will meet up with folks for the nightlife activities. As I understand it, Tambu on Thursday, AC on Friday and Jelly Rolls on Saturday, right? (I will be doing Earl's as well on Friday) Okay, when will we have time for the blue geese by the Pop pool?!

Hey all! I'm interested in the Keys to the Kingdom Tour if anyone else is going to do that one . . . I'm going on Mickey's Magical Milestones in September so I'll let everyone know how that one is when I get back. I thought it would be a good tour for someone who has never been to WDW before.

Yep, that's right. As for the pool, who knows? I think that's more of a spontaneous thing to just chill out there once the day is through.

I sent the link to my Aunt so she could check it out... The one from the website... And yes she may be coming too.. Depends if she gets this position at work...
Okay, got it. I cannot keep everyone straight anymore!! Too much info coming my way at time. :rotfl2:

I want to go to Tambu. But if it's Thursday I will probably be at Jiko.

I was at DTD last weekend and if it's not too crowded there on our Friday we can probably carry out from Earl's or wherever and take over some of the tables near the water. Weather permitting of course. Maybe I can stop by Raglan Road and get a drink first....or afterward if AC ends up opening late.

If you can believe it I have my arrival flight...comes in at 12:30 on 10/31.

Catherine, these fancy food and wine things you are doing are really getting in the way.... We might just have to kidnap you yet. :rolleyes1 ;)

It would be nice to eat near the water. And yeah, let's hope for no rain!!

So you'll be in fairly early on the 31st. Now let's see where will she be that night.... :scratchin :teeth:

Going to take bets? :rotfl:

I'm in early because I need time to eat first (meaning run over to Epcot and hit the food booths...the Beach Club rocks) and to get the costume on and I am trying to factor in flight delays. You bet the costume stuff goes in a carryon because I bet ME would be late delivering it.

Bets?? You're not in Vegas yet. ;)

I can't wait to see your costume! Well, pics of it that is since I won't actually see you in it. Unless you just want to wear it out around the parks one day. :thumbsup2

I was able to call yesterday and make those ADR's that are listed on the front page so far!! :cool1: :woohoo: :yay: :dance3:

So if anyone has any ADRs to make, you can go ahead and do it. And if you want me to add anything to the front page schedule just let me know.

Also, the dates are out for MNSSHP. They will be having one of November 2nd while we are there!!

That was the night scheduled for Earl's in DTD followed by the Adventurers Club.

Now I am thinking personally I might want to do MNSSHP instead. I went last year on a Friday and it was a freakin mess. A zoo!! Wall to wall people. I hated it and vowed never to go again.

However, I missed the parade and now I am torn since I really want to see it.

So anyways, just an FYI to give people more choices. And make it more confusing. :rolleyes1

Just when I thought Earl's was the one sure thing!!!

After that rave review of MNSSHP, I can't believe I am planning on skipping it! Well, I have never been much of a parade person.

Oh man, the only sure thing with these trips, is there is no sure thing. Nothing. Everything is open to change right up until we set foot on the plane!! :rotfl2:

It's true, ask anyone who went last time. :rotfl:

Which isn't to say that Earl's still isn't a possibility for those who want to do it. From what I can tell so far, everyone is sort of planning to do their own thing this time around. We tried to keep groups together last time and it was too hard. Everyone is a WDW veteran and knows what they want to do and when.

I think at this point, I will just plan to do the things I know I want to do and then if anyone wants to join me they are welcome too. Seems the safest way to do it. ;)
