Hi everyone,

I know that I should know the answer to this question having been to Florida 12 times + BUT.........

what exactly are you suppossed to put on the Customs forms?

For example, DH and myself always by a few bottles of Vodka/Brandy at Gatwick to drink on holiday! I also take Teabags, Coffee and Cereal.

Am I suppossed to put ALL of this on the form?

I am never quite sure if its just the booze they are interested in.

anyone know?

Nope you don't need to put any of that on the form, from what I remember its more to do with bringing large sums of cash into the country. When I go thru customs and they ask if we have any food or drink I tell them then that Ive got vodka, teabags etc, all they are doing tho is making sure you don't take forbidden items like plants and seeds etc.

oh - thats a good link - thanks guys!!!!!

I always used to write down my vodka but won't bother now!

With ESTA as well that will cut down my form filling in time!!!!

Not quite all the form filling time as they are still issuing the green I-94W forms
this is on the ESTA website as questions of the week posted 16th JAN 2009

Q: If a VWP traveler has received ESTA approval, does he or she also need to fill out an I-94W?
A: ESTA will allow DHS to eventually eliminate the requirement that VWP travelers complete a paper Form I-94W prior to being admitted to the United States. While DHS continues to work together with the airlines to fully automate the I-94W process, all VWP travelers applying for admission at a U.S. port of entry, including VWP travelers who have obtained travel authorization via ESTA, must present a completed Form I-94W to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Well by then you may be ok as the site doesn't give any indication as to when the I-94W will go
