I know many of us here at the dis were deeply saddened by the recent tragic death of a 2 year old at WDW. Here's a great way to show the family you are thinking of them...

Please let the Graves family know you are thinking of them and their sweet boy by putting up a blue ribbon in Lane's honor! Then share a picture and mention your city/state at: http://www.facebook.com/bluebowsforlane/

Exactly, leave them alone. If they want to be contacted they would let us know. Right now I don't think they want to hear anything Disney

People in the family's community and around the world are putting up blue bows in Lane's honor to let the family know they are in our thoughts and prayers. You can be part of that or not. I'm certainly not suggesting anything Disney should do, it's for individuals who care. Personally I found this tragic death very upsetting and I plan to participate.

If you are genuinely concerned, check out the facebook page and learn more before you run it down please.

"If you are genuinely concerned check out ..."

Matt and Melissa Graves have set up a foundation to create a lasting legacy for their son. To honor Lane Graves, one can visit the Lane Thomas Foundation page online to make a donation. For more information, please visit the omahagives website or omahafoundation.org. Thank you.

I'm so happy you are donating to the foundation! Me too! Is it ok with you if other people show their support in both ways? Or are you trying to discourage people from putting out blue bows? I don't understand your reasoning.

Regardless I really don't want to have any negativity, just wanted to pass on this way of showing support for the family. I agree that the foundation is very important, but I think the blue bows are also a meaningful gesture. If it's not your cup of tea, I totally understand that.
