Do they allow you to order dessert only at BB? Or maybe appy and dessert? And if they will, should I make a ressie? We will be there Nov 22-25!

Order whatever you want - it's your money and they can't restrict how you spend it.

Of course, I wouldn't tell them that ahead of time - it would probably get you a lower grade of service, from what others have posted experiencing (and from what I have seen, myself). What they don't know, won't impact your guest experience. It may deflate your waiter, when he finds out, but that's not how he's taught to act in Traditions class.....

Besides, one can always give as high of a tip that they would like to, and that of course their budget will allow. So even if one orders but one dish, the wait person does not know how well they may be tipped. Just one never really does know, after all, one really cannot judge a book by it's cover.

A tip is based on service, the amount of the check is simply a guideline of what you should tip is your service is worth it.

I would do BB and just do dessert if that's what I wanted, I think DBF and I will share, an appy, a meal and the cookie boat. yum! Yes they will charge us the split plate fee but it will be ok with us. Oh and yes, you should make a PS, even for "just dessert".

I've had dessert only at BB and had no problems with the waitress. She was still very nice to us. I told her we've always wanted to try dessert but we're always too full after dinner so this time we just came for dessert. We made reservations for mid afternoon around 3:00. It was great...you still get the atmosphere and it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg!
