Has anyone ever just had dessert here? Do you then just make a reservation for just dessert or do you make just dinner reservations?
thanks
michelle

I don't think you can make a reservation for just dessert - it's just a general reservation, I'm sure whatever you choose to eat while there is okay.

Dessert - yes!!! Been many years now since we haven't gone with the little one, but they have creme brulee - my favorite!!! Desserts are wonderful. Of course I'm hearing the same thing about Cafe Orleans too and some neat things they are doing there at Halloween. Carnation Cafe is also a great just dessert place - huge and yum!

I got reservations for the Blue Bayou and I told the CM that our group was only going to get desert and we just basically wanted to eat in the restaurant for the ambiance and the history of the place. And he said that it is a farily common thing and we would have no problem at the BB as long as we told them at seating that we were coming just for desert.

I'll be getting my overpriced Flying Dutchman and enjoying every second of being in there.

Search for "Flying Dutchman Cookie" on Google Images and click on the first picture.

We are planning on eating at BB this time. I can't wait it will be our first time actually eating there. I have gazed longingly across the water, but now we'll be there!

Does anyone know if the sail on the Flying Dutchman Cookie is white chocolate? Also if you blow up the pic mentioned above, you can see the treasure chest in the background. I think I read some where it is choc, and someone saved it :confused3 any idea if I just dreamt that?

hmmm, we were there last week and the warm chocolate chip cookie with the ice cream on top with drizzled chocolate and caramel on top was heaven!

I don't think it is white chocolate, in fact, our server said you *could* eat the sail but it wasn't reccomended. :rotfl:
The rest of it sure is yummy though! :cloud9:

Sweet! (pun intended ... lol) I made our reservatoins for our trip today. I really love creme brulee, but that cookie boat looks yummmmmmy:woohoo: Decisions decisions ... I may choose based on what DH wants to get and if I can get some of it from him :rotfl2:
