I just might have to change my dates to be around for Pirates opening. I bet the lines will be crazy long that first day, though.

Just a note of caution that if you go before the Pirates refurb is complete, you might be dining with the blue wall

The bigger news here is that we’ve caught word that the restaurant inside the attraction, the Blue Bayou, will “Soft open” on May 28th. During the soft opening period, there will be no reservations and guests will be able to dine by walk-up only. However, please note that construction walls will remain up inside the restaurant – blocking the view of the actual bayou in the attraction.

Yeah, no thanks if the blue walls are up. The main thing about BB is the view of POTC and ambiance it gives off.

I did that, too and am hoping for a flurry! I set up alerts for any meal time, 4 days in a row. Hopefully I get something.

Yes, I have seen at least one YouTube video showing the walls up in Blue Bayou right now.

Yes. I looked in when I was walking by and saw the walls inside facing the bayou part of the Pirates ride. Maybe they'll come down soon but for now it's Wall Bayou.

Thanks! I'll keep watching for more info as the Pirates opening gets closer. Like others, I wouldn't eat at BB if the walls are up. It wouldn't be worth it to me.
