I was wondering if it is possible to have a group of five sit next to the water at the Blue Bayou. Has anyone done it before?
What time was your reservation? Thanks. We went with 5 with reservations and asked for a table by the water. We got one almost instantly. So you never know!
I hope what Tyggress said is true. I've got an 11:30 booked for a lunch in November. I better get that waterfront table. Otherwise, that place just aint worth it to me.
I'm so glad you mentioned seeing the larger party - we will be reserving a party of 7 for first seating lunch on my Mom's 60th birthday and we really hope to get waterside.I see parties of 5 - 6 near the water all the time.
We had an 11:30 reservation for lunch last week and asked for waterside when we checked in. The CM told us that all 11:30 reservations automatically get waterside, they seat them first. We were a party of 4 and had a party of 6 or 7 right next to us.
If you have a party of 5 / 6, make a first seating reservation for lunch (11:30) or a first seating reservation for dinner and ask for waterside. Dinner you might have to wait; lunch, you'll get it automatically.
most of my results had people claiming not likely/possible
This is awesome to hear! Did you go early before your reservation and request a water side table? We were a party of 12 last year week between Christmas and New Years and were seated next to the water. Our reservations were the earliest dinner at 4:30 (that was the only time they would seat a large party together) and it was fantastic!
