Blue Bayou Kids menu questions

I am so excited to be taking my family (DH, and three boys 10 and under) to Blue Bayou for the first time! We are huge fans of Pirates of the Caribbean and have always said it would be fun to eat there someday. In honor of my 5 year breast cancer anniversary, we made reservation for our upcoming trip (25 more days!).

I have a few questions about the kids menu. First- has anyone ordered the Chef's Beef Specialty for kids ($13)? Is this essentially a small steak or some other kind of beef dish? My oldest DS LOVES steak but I wasn't sure if this would fit the bill or if I need to order him a steak off the adult menu? Also, can the cheesy macaroni be ordered as plain pasta with butter?

Congrats on the 5 yr anniversary! My Dd order the kids beef every time, and it always was a petite steak. She loves it. No idea on the pasta.

My son always has pasta with butter & parmesan at BB. I don’t think they serve the cheese pasta without cheese, but they will serve the pasta that goes with chicken dish without the marinara.

my son, 8 who loves steak, ordered this on 9/28 for the Halloween party meal. It was a steak (probably sirloin?) cut into strips. He said it was not very good and I tried it, and agreed...pretty flavorless. He ended up eating 1/2 of my ribeye instead. I think the best steak on the menu is the filet that comes with the surf n turf, but since I'm allergic to seafood, can't order it...
