That's too bad that they didn't understand that the cushions are yours to keep for a souvenir.... I saw a few people leave their cushions there, too, after the first show.
We love our cushions -- they come in handy for all kinds of things at home. And we have friends who bring theirs to the parks to use on rides and for making benches more comfortable.Yep, we use ours for the bleachers at my son's football games. That's too bad that they didn't understand that the cushions are yours to keep for a souvenir. We love our cushions -- they come in handy for all kinds of things at home. ]...we have an ADR for the 2nd night we are there [at BB]....can I change our reservation to a dining package? Also: price difference? Set menu? [DH has celiac so he needs a GF menu]
[NOTE: I don't speak DL-ese; we are 1st-timers, so be gentle...]
....hmmmm....interesting....Oh, yeah, somebody else chime in here, but I think I've heard that if you are doing the package for dinner, you get F! fast passes for the second show, or... you can ask for the first show, but you're not guaranteed you can get them for the first show because they might all be gone already... or something like that. Which, I wouldn't want the second show because it gets a little late, and I like to sit and watch the fireworks from our spot after the first show. If you go for the lunch package, you're getting F! passes for the first show. On nights where there are 2 shows, that is, 9 and 10:30. Sometimes there is only one.
.....oh greatI'm sure if you called Disney Dining they would make the change for you. It's pricey: $72 for dinner, and the menu is prix fixe. AllEars has the menu from last August (price is upped since then) there may be changes, but in my experience, it doesn't change that much. http://allears.net/dlr/dining/menu/blue-bayou/special-dinner/.....
....I just HAD to go use your link....EVERYTHING on that dang-blasted menu looks awesome! NOW what do I do with the drool from my mouth and the grumbling of my tummy???

You know, I have thought about this, because it sounds great, except I’ve heard several reviewers say that the view can be somewhat blocked by the people standing, or at tables in front of you, unless you happen to luck into a very few of the well-placed tables. One reviewer said that while they had a good view, she could hear others behind and to the side of her complaining that their view, especially of the lower effects on the River, was blocked. I don’t think I’d want to chance it.I love Blue Bayou, and the seat cushion is a great thing to have. But after doing River Belle Terrace and upgrading to the premium package. I've never gone back. Its slightly more expensive but the food is good, not as good as Blue Bayou, but you get to see it at an elevated view and you get to sit in a chair. It sells out fast because there arent many seats but if you call and they have it available, I would definitely give it a go if you haven't done it before.

We did it for lunch, because I like to get in on the first seating at 11:30 so we can easily get waterside seating.
What is the price for the lunch package? Is it still dinner price? Does the menu change?
