Blue Bayou and dessert-only ordering...a server's thoughts

We ordered only dessert in April. We went to a light dinner at Carnation Cafe (baked potato soup was just as good as everyone said) and straight to BB for dessert. Service was great, no bad looks for not ordering "food". We had PS ressies. The "roll man" came around and gave us some before we could say no, 2 each, and man they were good, lol. We shared the Cookie Boat and it was sooooo yummy The waiter even gave us a huge heap of chocolate coins for the kids with our bill.

As a server it is sometimes a relief when a table just wants dessert. You know they are going to be easy and you know they are going to be out fast. Especially on really busy nights when you feel overwhelmed. However it does kinda suck when a table that just orders desserts stares at each other with googly eyes for three hours. I never feel bad for just ordering dessert. Just be considerate. Time truely does equal money to a server.
