You could check Undercover Tourist for discounts. Go to Mousesavers.com and sign up for their newsletter to get an even better discount through them. I hear AAA has a decent discount but don't know if they offer Annual Passes. I have a Disney Visa and there aren't too many discounts, maybe 10% on merchandise. You can get a 5x7 picture taken at Epcot. Nice.

Yes, you can go again at no park cost with Annual Passes. We used ours for 4 seperate trips before they expired. At least 28 days admission.

Just so you know, DVC members get a really good AP rate. Currently it's $425 before tax but prices do go up slightly every year. Right now (well, for the next 2 days) they offered a Premium Annual Pass to DVC for $399. Gets you into all 4 parks, waterparks and Disney Quest and some golf. Offer expires Dec 31, 2012. Won't help you right now but members do get a discount.

For future reference, members also can get a Tables In Wonderland card for $100. Saves you 20% on most all table service restaurants and Character buffets, includes alcohol and appetizers. Some counter service places too but not many.

Sweet Ty does my math seem right for the trip though? All what about house keeping I know I read something about every other day etc? But. Can pay for other? Any input on that? Pay when u get there or befor etc?

you get trash and tidy on the 4th day - if you stay that long.

3 days or less - no housekeeping at all.

yes you can pay for housekeeping daily - think for a studio it is $25 per day (might be $35 now)

go a couple of days w/o it - before you decide you need it.

you can get BLT alot less resale than thru Disney. but Disney won't allow you to trade to their special things - you still get RCI if you buy resale.

that say OKW or SSR are still a fairly good deal if you are buying.

Can't really say about your math because it depends on how long you want to stay, what size villa and how many points. Looks close. Honestly, if you want to stay at BLT I hear the studios are quite small. I'll find out for myself in 7 days....our 1st BLT studio. There's just 2 of us. We've only stayed in a 2br there.

If you rent points you will get the same housekeeping as a DVC member. Trash and towel day on day 4. For stays of 8 days or longer you will get a full cleaning on day 4 and Trash and Towel service on day 8. You can pay for daily cleaning. We have never done that but I imagine you can pay for that at check out, depending on how many extra days you need. I hear you have to pay for extra towels but have never had to do that either.

Would love to hear what u have to say about room n a week. And have fun! Ty for all info. Not sure what other ment about though disney I assume that they mean buy dvc not renting. I just want to rent before buy to make sure we lov it as much as we did the contemp. Ty all very much! Aaron

We had no problem with the size, however, we were only two adults. We'll be trying three adults and one 3 yrs old in May, but at BCV.

Good to hear ok for 2 I know y little ones end up n bed. With us a lot any ways but close bed maybe good thing but who knows we had lot extra room in normal room at contemp

I think they meant that you could get BLT cheaper through resale than buying through Disney. Currently, as you probably know, they are selling BLT for $165 per point. Resale is going for under $100, in some cases well under. Resale will save you thousands. It's worth looking into.

There are some restrictions on resale points but if you only want to use them to stay at WDW/DVC/BLT there would be absolutely no difference than buying directly from Disney. Just a whole lot cheaper.

Just so you're aware, studios at BLT are smaller than the rooms in the Contemporary.

True. I've heard that the pull out is so close you can hardly stand between them.

I think where people run into problems is when they don't put the pullout bed back into the sofa during the day. How much trouble could that be?

Original question being if you missed anything. Now I am not an accountant, but your numbers add up to just over 5k, and thats using your lower point total of 126, add about 250 for the 143 point total.

Yes should say 5 k. I fat fingered it on iPad Ty

I do c a savings next year of 2444 though with passes already taken care of

Another possible savings would be for meals. If you plan to eat at sit down restaurants, look at Tables In Wonderland. It is available to DVC and AP holders. Do the math on your meals and decide if you would spend enough at table service restaurants over the 12 month period to pay for it.

We buy it the day of the first table service where we save money and then use it for 2-3 trips within the 12 month period. For us, it is a much better deal than the Disney dining plan.

Another tip is Target Red Card allows you to save 5%. Most Targets allow the savings on Disney gift cards because they are entertainment. We buy a few of the $50 Disney gift cards, saving 5% for each trip. We use them towards meals and merchandise.

:thumbsup2

We stayed in a studio in September (there were 4 of us) and when my DDs used the pullout couch it made for a really tight fit, however once we closed it back up in the morning it wasn't that bad.
