WOW Bobbi...you own at 6 resorts?
How do you manage them> Is it diffficult or do you have same UY for all of them?
We are trying to figure this out....we would like to add on but are finding better value resale contracts with different UY than what we own? Just curious.
We have the same UY for all, and have added on through
DVC and through resale. Only once I was tempted to buy a different UY resale, I made an offer and when it was refused, I must admit, I was happy. In the end, I didn't want to have to deal with a different UY. Many of our add ons are 25 to 40 points, we bought what we could afford. We are empty nesters, with 3 DGC who are now 5,6 and 7 and they've been going to WDW since they've been 1,2 and 3. My DMom is now 90 and no longer travels, but she celebrated her 85th and 86th birthday at WDW with us and others and we also had a GG for an DAunt for her 80th.
We like to know where we're staying at 11 months, and we often need more than 1 villa, so we borrow so we can usually book all we need at 11 months. Sometimes, like the coming up 4th of July visit, I booked a dedicated 2 bedroom at BCV and a studio at BWV for DSis. If we couldn't get DSis into BCV at 7 months, it wouldn't have been too bad since the resorts aren't far, but right at 7 months, I did get her into BCV. We bought into BCV when we realized that we needed the dedicated 2 bedroom with 2 queen beds and they are most often not available at 7 months. I think there are only 25 of them.
What is a pain is that the contracts, 18 of them, I think, are listed on the our member site, with just the contract number, without mention of the resort it is in. I wish they could be put in groups of like resorts, but I do manage and if DH has to make a reservation like he did earlier this week (He booked concierge studio stay for me and my DSis for next April!!), I tell him which number contract he should tell the CM to take the points from.
The most points we own at a resort is at BWV (250) and the least number is at SSR (100).
