BLT: Will Full Size Crib be Provided?

My upcoming trip to the BLT I am renting points from a DVC member. Will the BLT provide me with a full-size crib? I know the rooms have pack-n-plays in them already, but my kid will be too big for one of those by then.

My previous trips to the BLT were as paid for as nightly hotel rooms, and both times I was provided an honest-to-goodness full-size crib.

So will I be treated differently this time since I'll be there as a DVC renter instead of a nightly hotel guest?

Any full size cribs are just subject to availability. I don't believe you will be treated differently because you're staying on points, but there's no guarantee you will get a regular crib. I always tell people who have to have a full size crib to rent one from one of the outside companies, no matter how you are paying for your room.

I'd imagine the crib they might provide would be smaller than the pack and play.

When I requested as the cribs as a nightly hotel guest, I got the same 'no guarantees' disclaimer and both times I received a crib.

I guess my question really is do I have to take 'no' for an answer if I'm a DVC guest, rather than a hotel guest. As a hotel guest I would have been politely persistent until a crib was provided. I've seen postings from CM who said they've gone to other resorts to fulfill crib request if their resort was out. So will the CR CMs behave differently because I am on points? Do they not have the same latitude or motivation to fulfill DVC requests, versus nightly hotel ones?

Ok...now I'm confused.

As I said in my first post, the BLT provided me a certifiable full-size crib. We used sheets I brought from home. My in-laws have a travel size crib in their home, so I know the difference in sizes.

So if I am staying as DVC guest (renting points), is there a different set of 'crib-inventory' that housekeeping will draw from when I request this full-size crib?

We stayed at BLT a couple times and never received a full sized crib.
Maybe we're just not the lucky ones to get a full sized ones.

Anyways, whether your are a DVC member or not cribs are FCFS basis. So if you don't get it the first night you can always call mousekeeping the next day and keep asking.
