BLT wait listed

Well we have been wait listed for our first two vacation days for our trip in October. So at this point we have our first 2 days at Boardwalk and our last 3 at BLT with a lake view (really wanted standard view) what are the chances that we will be able to get those 2 days?

I know BLT being a new resort makes it more difficult and we are not new to being on a wait list at Beach Club or Boardwalk and we have always gotten our requested resort but I'm worried with BLT being new that won't be the case and we will be changing resorts during our 5 day stay.

There aren't very many standard view villas so I think your chances of the waitlist coming through for that aren't very good. But October is still several months away, so you never know.

I think your chances are quite good if you are waitlisted for lake view. Also in your favor is that DVC is likely to declare more villas into the condominium before your trip.

but also think with a lake view your chances are good.

I don't have the chart offhand, but I remember seeing that the far majority of rooms at BLT are for a lake view. There are 14 GV's (7 MK and 7 Lake View) but as far as rooms go there was a much higher percentage (I want to stay it was like 70% were lake view).

got my brother on a wait list for standard view - they got lake view for Sept.

will try to remember to say if he gets it.
