BLT vs BWV at Christmas

Ok so I have become the queen of reservation switch this week! But the constant checking of the website scored me a 4 night stay at BLT-lake view studio!! We were originally going to do AKL, but I really wanted to be closer to the parks since we have only 4 days to enjoy them! So my question is I have a wait list for BWV boardwalk view. Should I cancel that? Which resort is better at Christmas time? We will be there Dec. 11-15 planning on doing MVMCP on the 11th, DHS-osbourne family lights, EPCOT-CP and story telling, and maybe some AK time. We also plan on dining at Chef Mickey's and Ohana' breakfast. Which resorts is better to be at? We own at AKV-Kidani and this is our first time going outside our home resort. HELP is appreciated!

hey big fan of BLT - it is best for MK and Epcot.

BWV is best for Epcot and Studios.

so which park are you going to be at the longest - if Epcot or studios then BWV.
if MK then BLT.

you are doing alot in 4 days.

We already took our "BIG" trip this year on a Disney Fantasy cruise, but we had some points left over and was like...why not? We have a 4 yr old so plan on MK being a BIG part of our stay! We want to go to EPCOT to do the CP and DHS only to see the lights and possibly a ride at TSM. So I'm thinking BLT is going to be the best for this short/packed trip! Who is BLT decorated for Christmas? We defiantly wanna go resort hoping to see decorations.

BLT is not big on decorating - but you get to see a christmas tree on CR - would make sure to visit WL - you can ride a boat from CR/blt to WL/VWL - and definitely GF (you take the monorail)

also if you have the time - and I don't think you will - BW, BC, YC - have some nice decorations.

There is a tree in the lobby of BLT but thats about it. Make sure you go to Top of the World for Hot Chocolate. Yummy!

Your situation I would stay at BLT (we split BLT with BWV or BCV). The shorter stay and dining you mention is right there on the monorail, and MK at XMAS is so good even if just to walk over for a parade or fireworks. Also MK tends to open latest by far (not sure mid dec) so you can often get a bus back there, check out MK even a short time to end your night-then the simple walk home.

The fact you want Chef Mickey's and Ohana' would mean BLT IMO.

Our December trip is booked to be a split between BLT and BWV although I've thought about a waitlist for VWL.

Since you have alot planned in the MK area, I would definitely do BLT!!

Although BLT may not be completely "wowed" out for Christmas you will easily be able to take the monorail loop to see the other resorts especially GF in all their Christmas splendor!! And then hop the boat over to WL to see their beautiful Christmas decorations!!
