BLT vs BCV why is this so hard to choose a home resort.

deciding upon which home resort is really a decision you should make. take the time to decide what do you like about each resort, what you don't like about the resorts:

BCV has SAB-great pool, walking distance/boat to Epcot & HS

BLT proximity to MK, monorail to Epcot

look at the points chart

then keep going down your list of pros and cons

One thing to consider - BCV expires in 2042, BLT in 2060.

Own 1/2 the points at each-then do split stays or pool every other year.

If your family loves to spend a lot of time at the pool and loves Epcot or Hollywood studios, then I would choose the Beach Club. If Magic Kingdom is the place you spend most of your time, you can't get enough of the monorail, and you love the lake and water sports, then Bay Lake Tower may be the place for you. We own at both, and we either bank and borrow points for a full stay at one of the resorts, or we spend a few days at one and then move to the other for the remainder of our vacation. You really cannot go wrong with either! Good luck with your decision!
