Was wondering if somewhere on here there are pictures of what the view looks like from the balcony for the Bay Lake view. It looks like the building itself curves. Is there a chance of a partial bay lake view and MK view?

Bay Lake does not open until August so there will not be any pictures from guests.

From the design of the building it does seem possible to have MK views that will have some view of Bay Lake also - or on the higher rooms maybe of the Seven Seas Lagoon.

I would expect any room that has any sort of a view of MK to be a Magic kingdom view room. So you may book a MK view and end up with a Bay lake view from 4/5 of the balcony and a stretch to see the back of space mountain or similar!

I smell more than a few moans when BLT opens! However, I've booked my bay lake view for october. I booked a savannah room at AKV last year and got badly hosed on the view there (mud pit view) and refuse to pay the premium to get a car park dumpster view at BLT!

I cant wait for my view of the bay lake!

I actually did a floor by floor look at what would be the MK rooms and by the percentages that have been quoted there will be quite a few LV rooms on the outer curve north and west sides that will have a partial MK view, but you will not have a MK view sitting on the sofa in the living room.

It is going to be fun figuring out the new views when BLT opens. Percentage wise, there are not a lot of MK views. When I was watching the construction I would have guessed 50% Magic Kingdom views, but in reality it is only 20% and there are even fewer Std views. I don't see how the rooms on the MK side could have BL views--and it seems like there are more than just 20% of the rooms on that side.

On the Bay Lake views, the electric water pagent comes through each night (used to be 10:05pm). Hopefully, you can see the same show from the MK views when it is playing at the Polynesian, and in front of the MK, but I don't know if you will hear the music. Maybe the BL side will be able to see some of the upper fireworks at EPCOT off in the distance?

I think we'll quickly learn that there will be more "preferred" MK view rooms over others. I'm just curious to see what view the rooms on the outer curve will be considered. We arrive 4 days after opening. I'm sure too soon to get the low down on what room is better. I'm guessing those first couple weeks are going to be a little chaotic as it is....and then try to meet everyone's requests for the "perfect" view....
