BLT, VGF or Poly studio.

Considering these resorts for my spring 2023 visit. Would love to hear the pros and cons of each.

How is transportation for each?

- Transportation, theme and dining options are priorities.
- going for race weekend
- 3-4 adults (no kids)
- outside of races, heavy park days

We have no idea what your priorities are. If you want to spend the whole time in the pool, I'd pick none of these. If you want to walk to MK, obviously BLT.

Poly is right on the TTC to monorail to Epcot, but a 10 minutes Uber from any of them is still faster.

They are all monorail resorts and are all technically walkable to Magic Kingdom.

If two or less are going I would choose BLT as it is the closest walk and first stop off the monorail when coming home.

While the two others have the split bathroom with 2 showers, I prefer Poly over VGF as it is a wall separating the spaces and not a pocket door if over two people are in your party.

Sorry I can not comment on the Resort Studios as I have not stayed at one of those yet.

Need to know your travel party - how many? Kids? What is your vacation like? Parks all day, or pool time, etc.

All are great resorts with pros and cons. As others have said, more info on your party and plans needed

Good point on not highlighting priorities. We will be there on race weekend, so transportation is top priority.
Do they share buses to AKL and DHS?

After transportation, theming, food options are probably next. Pool isn’t important at all.

We have stayed at poly before, long before they had DVC

This would be my recommended order: Poly, VGF, BLT.
BLT would really be my only one I wouldn't do with 3-4 adults. We feel cramped with just 2 adults in at BLT studio. I also don't like the water at BLT. Of all of the MK resorts, this one seems to have the worst tasting water.

Great insight into BLT. Thanks so much for the feedback!

3-4 adults would rule out BLT for me, smallest and only one bathroom room. I would probably pick Poly or the resort studio at VGF.
Poly has the two room bathroom, and the resort studio at VGF has the two queen beds. My choice would be whichever of those amenities mean more.

for a Studio stay -VGF or Poly because newly refreshed with murphy beds (no sofa pull outs), better bathroom layout, large studios villas & monorail resort hop for food options
edit: VGF has 2 options, Deluxe Studio Villas w/ Murphy bed & Resort Studios w/ 2 queens (as stated by pp)

Do you mean for spring surprise weekend in April? Are any of those actually available?

After staying at BLT right after Poly, I would say Poly, no question. Being able to walk to and from Ticketing and Transportation is a game changer. We do 4 grown (unrelated) adults in poly studios all the time, it’s great :)

Thanks! It looks like there is limited availability. So trying to decide if I want to jump on one or just go back to POFQ.

When we stayed at Polynesian years ago, we did take heavy advantage of being so close to TTC.
