BLT Trip Report - 11/06/09 - 11/11/09

A question.
My experience is that these high rise buildings never have enough (or large enough) elevators--witness those poor little things in the Contemporary itself.

Does this place have enough (and large enough) elevators to adequately serve the occupants?? Or is there the usual 10 minute wait and then try to cram in with the other 15 people?

I thought the elevators were a decent size. Most days we had no trouble at all getting one. I believe they have 3 elevators per bank (north and south). However we were out the door quite early on most days (before 8am). On our checkout day we left at 8:45a and waited literally 10 minutes for an empty elevator. We nearly missed our DME bus. Others were waiting too as everyone crammed into our elevator despite it being quite full on the lower floors (we were on 12).

We NEVER had a problem with the elevators the entire time we were there. They are quick. We usually waited less than 30 seconds for the elevator to arrive every time. I think we only ever had to share an elevator with others once on our entire 5 day trip. HUGE thumbs up on the elevators. :thumbsup2
