BLT theme park view or lake view?

Does every lake view room provide a view of the electrical water pageant? Thinking of requesting lake view over theme park view because my kids enjoy the EWP more than the fireworks. Don't want to request it, if EWP viewing isn't a guarantee.

Thanks!

Lake view is a booking category, not a request. I'd guess that a few if the lake view rooms won't have a good view of the water pageant, but the vast majority will.

Sadly the rooms don't have a great water pageant view. The boats go from the GF main resort, turn off and position for their Poly run, they aren't on for the VGF. You can see them when they put on the show for the poly but it isn't the same as putting on a show for VGF.

Happened to find out by chance that Lake View rooms on the inside of the C in the center (that is, between the elevators) has a fantastic view of the pageant. It was a pleasant surprise after not getting the request for a room on the outside of the C. I doubt any other lake view would have as good a view, it will be either off to the side and somewhat obstructed, or possibly not even in visible.

The lake view on the north end on the outside of the "C" can't see the Electrical Water Pagent from their rooms. But all the others do.

Our favorite is Lake View (which is beautiful and relaxing as a contrast to the busy parks) but on the north side, outside of the C. From many of these you can still see some of the park and the fireworks from the balcony. You have to go on the balcony and look to the left. With this said, you can't see the pageant I don't think. Our favorite way to do this though is to time a late night swim in the round pool right on the lake at the main CR building. It's a great view of the pageant and a great way to end the day for the kids.

I have stayed twice at BLT, both times Lakeview. And both times we could not see EWP. First, time we were 10th floor and the end the furtherest from the bridge. We actually had a beautiful view of Space Mountain and if you looked left off the Master Bedroom balcony you could see the castle. We could watch fireworks from our sofa. It was great.

Second time, we had the top floor just down the hall from the TOP of World lounge on the inner circle but again, no view of EWP. We could hear it but not see it. And we had a view of the lake. I think it turns in front of BLT closer to the CR. We love this location being so close to lounge, just run down the hall to watch Wishes.

So, we had great lakeviews both times just not of EWP. I found the bridge connecting the BLT to CR a great place to watch EWP. Good luck.

We had an outer C south side view that provided us a nice EWP view and Epcot fireworks view.

I don't know the exact numbers but I think your odds of seeing the EWP are mediocre at best, at least a good view. We stayed north side outer and couldn't see any of it (although we could see the MK fireworks) and we stayed south side outer and had a partial view (but the view of the contemporary, monorail, and GF was awesome). On our trip a few weeks ago we watched the EWP from the window by the North elevators so I would guess those rooms on the inside of the C had a pretty good view.

Thank you all for your valuable experience and input. I decided to book a theme park view room, and we will walk to one of these suggested viewing spots or take the late night swim to catch the EWP. We have almost always stayed at the Polynesian so we are excited to try BLT for the first time. I am most excited about the ability to walk to MK and not worry whether the monorail is up and running for our early morning departure. We have ridden the bus from the Poly to MK more times than I'd like due to monorail refurbs, etc.

We had a Lakeview room on the outside of the C that faced the Contemporary. We saw the Water Pageant multiple times. Poly and Contempt shows for sure. I think we saw GF, WL, and MK shows too. It's my favorite thing about WDW so I had hard time sleeping. I was so excited that I wanted to get up and watch it every time I heard it. This was total surprise to me, I had not even though about the show when I booked. I was just trying to get a monorail view for kiddo. The music carried well from Poly and Contempt shows, and it's moving music too. Man, I love that show.
