BLT Theme Park Room

We just booked our November Disney trip! 8 nights at BLT (studio): 4 theme park & 4 lake view!! We've never stayed in a theme park view room before, only lake view. (We've spent a weekend in a studio in Dec 2011 just DH and I & 9 nights in a one bedroom lake view in Dec 2012 with DH and I, DS 6 months, and MIL). This trip be DH, DS 18 months & I so we're cool with a studio .... We won't use the full kitchen, we only ever keep snacks & maybe sandwich stuff in the room.

I need your help with room requests....when can I start to make them & what should I request as far as the theme park view.... Any suggestions welcome!! Also, if anyone had suggestions on where to put a pack and play for DS (or an alternative) so DH & I don't have to go to bed when DS does! Although, the last trip we took him to the parks at night & he zonked out in the stroller. But he wasn't yet sleeping through the night than so he was up anyway. He sleeps much more now & at 18 months I imagine he might be too aware to just fall asleep in the stroller...

You absolutely want a room ending in 18... Highest floor possible. Your only other option for a mk view studio ends in 28 and that faces the grand floridian with mk to the far right.

now I don't like heights - so actually like the lower floors - 5th floor is my favorite

I booked my trip today using the online DVC system. There is a link to contact, and I sent an email with my floor requests. I did this exact thing with my last trip and got the floor I requested. I would ask them ASAP to make a note on your reservation so the person who checks you in will see it.

I would put the pak n play by the connecting door...we had 12 floor room '18' wonderful view...2 bedroom was way down on the other end...same floor...hoping for high floor in May....studio
