Has anyone stayed in a BLT studio with 2 adults, 2 children (4,6) and an infant? I would love to hear your comments. We previously stayed in a BLT studio with just our 2 children and remember it to be a bit crowded but the location was awesome.

We currently have a studio booked at BCV and are wait listed for a BLT studio.

TIA

Where do you plan to put the pack and play?

If you thought it was crowded already with just the 2 children I think you already have your answer. Only you can decide if the location is more important to you than feeling too crowded at BLT.

We found the perfect spot when you walk in where the connecting door would be if you had a 2 bedroom, it fit great. However, with that being said....no way, no how would I ever stay in a studio with 2 kids and an infant. I thought it was really crowded with just the three of us and my daughter was 18 mo at the time. I can't imagine 2 more kids in the same room. You are still walking distance to two parks and have the great pool at BVC, just IMO I would stay there!

BLT studios feel smaller than others because the nicer kitchenette takes up more space. Personally 3 young kids plus parents in a BLT studio is insane...that's what 1br villas are for! BLT studios are fine for solos and couples, but with kids - don't you want some privacy (and space)???

Will they let you stay five to a studio? The capacity is four, but I'm not sure if that includes infants. The rule is a fire code thing.

4 + 1 infant age 2 or less in a pack n play.

:grouphug: Tight quarters indeed.

June0802 - I'm sure you realize it's perfectly doable or you wouldn't be wait listed. I can guarantee you'll feel like you're living in a travel trailer with 5 in a studio at BLT.

My 2 teens and I have done Studios at VWL, AKV, SSR and OKW and fit just fine. When we stayed at BLT in a studio DS made himself comfy on the floor by the bathrooms. He didn't complain, but I won't do that to him again. He's grown so much in height in the past 2 years, I doubt he'd even fit there now. From now on if he can't at least stay in the main room on an air mattress with us we're upgrading.

We stuffed ourselves into a studio for a 5 day 4 night trip Oct 2010 & we made it. Loved our location & worth it!!

We didn't have points for a 1 bedroom
Because we wanted to return again in March 2011 for spring break.

Way too crowded for just one kid, let alone two kids and an infant.

We just have one toddler who is still in a pnp. Out last stay in a blt studio was in may. We like to put his pnp in front of the couch (closed) and leave his stroller open by the door to the adjoining room. If we had the couch opened up, I'm not sure where we would put the pnp? I guess if I were going to attmept this set up I'd probably have one kiddo sleep on the couch folded up, the baby in the pnp and then bring a single sized air mattress (and bedding) for the other kiddo, so that the three kids can sleep in the space the pull o ut would take up.

You understand that the BLT studios (about 340 sq ft) are about 20 sq ft smaller than BCV (about 360 sq ft). With four plus one in a pack n play there will be little to no room to manuever.
