Hello all!

My family of 5, DH, myself and 3 children, ranging in age from 7 yo to 4 months will be heading to BLT in 4 short days:banana:. We are brand new DVC members , brand new as in...oh maybe, 10 days or so. Our home resort is VWL but as I stated we will be in a BLT studio for 6 days. We are then moving to a 1 Bedroom at the BC for a remaining 2 days. :cool1:

I have done some research and looked at A LOT of pics of a studio and I can't see where one would put a pack n play when the sofa bed is open?!? Does anyone have any input or experience in this matter?

Thanks!

The only place I can imagine putting it would be in the hallway- although you will have to hope no one needs to use the restroom or leave the room once it is out and in use. I enjoy a studio there with just DH and I but wouldn't stay with more than 1 child in that studio it is quite small. Good luck.

I agree. There isn't much room to put the pack and play. You may need to put it in the bathroom or possibly where the connecting door to the one bedroom next door would be. Good luck. You are going to be very cozy.

Actually there is room in the alcove at the adjoining doorway to the lock off 1BR. The pack 'n play should not stick out into the hallway much if all. We usually store our luggage and cooler in that area.

first don't judge other DVC studios by BLT.

blt are tiny.

the door way between the studio and 1-bedroom - it will be closed and lock is probably the best area.

these studios are the smallest - worst yea the bathroom is big... anyway don't plan on spending alot of time in the studio and you will be okay.

I agree with the others. We love BLT, but have only stayed in a studio once (just me and my husband... no kids). The studios are small. We said we could do a studio with our two boys for a short trip, but difficult for much longer than a couple of nights. (Especially when we've been spoiled by the one bedrooms, which are bigger than other one bedrooms we've stayed at). If you don't mind your child sleeping by the front door, there is room in an alcove by the front door where the side door adjoins to the next room (a two bedroom lockoff is what I think they call that). We, too, have used it for luggage, shoes, packages, etc....Have a good trip!

We stayed twice in a BLT studio with the pack n play. It fits perfectly by the connecting door - doesn't stick out at all. :goodvibes

Thanks for the input. We did put the PnP in the alcove like some of you suggested. It fit perfectly in there and the baby slept great! :thumbsup2

I imagine it getting tight when the kids get older, but at this point we were pretty comfortable in the studio at BLT. We really loved being so close to the MK and couldn't get enough of our beautiful view! We were in room 7725, great view of the pool and Bay Lake.

I'm contemplating writing my first TR. We'll see how that turns out!

Thanks again!
