A quick introduction as its my first post to the boards. Lifelong Disney fanatic whom was also a Cast Member and VIP Tour guide, now living back in my home state of Massachusetts.

I have a split stay in August, 5 Nights in a Poly Studio and 3 nights in a BLT Studio. Looks like none of my other choices are going to come through for the last three nights and i'm concerned with the sleeping arrangements. My wife and I will be in the queen bed, but my adult sister will have to share the double pull out with my 9 year old daughter. I'm wondering how the plan I have may or may not work. Plan being put the table in the foyer (will it fit? all I care about is the door being able to freely open) The extra chairs on the balcony and a child size Aero bed which is 5 feet long. I know the area between the Aero bed and the foot of the pull out will be tight but it can be flipped up against the wall during the day.

That may work, you are staying at the smallest studio DVC has to offer. You should try for a different unit. Bolder Ridge, BCV and BWV all have 'murphy' type drop down beds in addition to the real queen and sofa.

Bill, i'm trying to get three more nights at Poly, or the only others i'm interested in staying at are GF, BCV, or BWV. All of those have the fold down bed. If I can't get any of those for the last 3 nights I will just make do at BLT. My biggest concern is the table fitting in the foyer, if it doesn't there will be no room for the Aero bed.

If your stuck with BLT, you could try turning the table on it's side and placing it in the kitchenette area while sleeping. I wouldn't rule out bolder ridge, it's a quick boat ride to MK and they have the easiest to get to bus service at WDW. The new pool should be open soon also.

They discourage putting the interior chairs on balconies. They're not designed for outdoor use.

I was concerned about that as well. I wonder if they would honor a request to remove them and the table. Although having worked for hotels probably not. there isn't much free space in a large hotel. I could maybe put one chair in the kitchenette and another in the closet.

Three adults plus a nine year old is going to be awful in the BLT studio. Can you get an OKW studio? You'd have loads of room, plus two real beds there. The bus ride to the MK takes about eight minutes which is even quicker than walking.

I'd also recommend the aerobed on the floor in the kitchenette vs moving any other furniture around. It'll be easy to stand up on it's side in there when you get up or even on it's end in the foyer area. The BLT table is easily chipped as evidenced by the condiiton of a couple of I've seen. And I also wouldn't do indoor chairs outside overnight.

We had our choice of OKW or AKL, but we are willing to sacrifice size for location for 3 nights. Still hopeful something in the MK area opens for those three nights. We also are checking for BCV and BWV as we also like being next to Epcot.

Thats an excellent idea. I need to get a rough estimate of the width of the Kitchenette, the bed is 37" wide by 5' long

The length will be no problem and I know I've read reports from people who have put a twin sized airbed in there. You might just have to squish it a bit down in but it's a relatively wide space since it was also once the bathroom vanity area along with the kitchenette area.

And keep checking for the other resorts you can't waitlist. As it gets into the summer and the travel dates you'll very possibly see some cancellations.

I think that's misleading. Even if the bus can actually make it to MK in 8 minutes, there is the inevitable wait for buses. That's one of the best appeals of the near-park resorts, IMHO. While I admit it will be real tight for 3 adults & 1 child in a BLT studio, I don't think it's worth the trade-off to OKW, especially if OP doesn't plan to stay in the room much.

There was lots of new Poly availability last night. Check the member site and see if you can grab a Poly studio yourself.

I'm an owner with my extended family and our points are committed to a trip in 2018, For this trip I'm renting so I will ask the owner to look into it today. Thanks!

I agree about not placing the chairs on the balcony. Even if it doesn't rain the humidity is high and the birds might poop all over them. Inside furniture stays inside.

Have you considered just placing the aerobed in the hallway where you want to move the table?

Plus with 5 stops within OKW, it can take 10 or 15 minutes for the bus to make it around to all the stops.

Welcome, BobK74! Following - we have a similar situation coming up on February, but with a pack n play. Our 6yo will be fine in the pullout but I think our 2 yo will still need a pack and play and I'm trying to figure out where to put it.

That will fit in the entry area.

Jamming 4 people into a BLT studio is not what I would consider the beginning of an enjoyable vacation. I stayed there with my daughter in December for a night. I can't imagine multiple nights with more than two people. Would I stay in a BLT studio again? Yes but only if it was me and my wife. IMHO but we bought into the DVC so we could spread out. If we are a group of 4 we get a 2br.

We love BLT. But we stayed in a studio w/2 adults and 2 pre-teens when it first opened (when the bathroom sink was in the kitchen galley area! - this has been changed) and we're glad it was only 2 nights. Having said that, if you'll be touring and otherwise engaged all day, I can understand your logic.....the location is unbeatable. I hope you're able to configure your sleeping arrangements and have a great trip!
