DH and I are planning a trip in 2016! I'd like to stretch the points we have to use by staying in studios, since it's just the two of us.

I want to book a couple of nights at Jambo and then 4 nights at BLT, if possible. Will we feel cramped? The kitchenette space seems nice.

I would think about Poly LV, but the bungalow view seems a little undesirable.

Are there any studios with king beds (anywhere on property)?

I'd like to be near MK/E, rather than on the boardwalk near E and HS, since we may not go to HS during this trip and we have stayed at BWV many times (LOVE IT!!).

This will be a first for DH staying at AKV and either BLT or Poly. I've stayed at AKV studios and BLT 1 bdrm with DD during a marathon trip.

Thanks!

BLT studios are very small but they will be fine for 2 persons who won't be opening the sofa bed.

No studios with king beds.

Thanks! DH is 6'9", so a king bed would be so much better, but oh well.

...did some research and found that queen beds are no shorter than kings. :rolleyes1

Depends on if it's an eastern king or cal king.....:) It's my biggest wish that they had king beds in the studios.

DH and I have stayed at BLT and I also stayed there with a girl friend last Nov and thought it was fine for 2 people. I consider it much improved since they moved the bathroom sink into the bathroom yet you do have the sink in the kitchenette area as well as a mirror and counter area opposite the kitchen appliances. And the balconies are a very nice size.

My DH & I often stay in the BLT studios for 2 or 3 nights. I've never felt cramped although I think it would feel that way more than 2 people. I like the sliding pantry.

Last time we were assigned a lake view studio on the 16th (top) floor. It was so nice to just walk down the hall to the TOTWL and deck to see WISHES - and even nicer to walk a few steps back to the room instead of waiting for the elevator along with everyone else. :) We also heard and saw the electrical water pageant each evening. :)

DH and I stay in BLT studios for up to 4 nights and find they are very nice for the 2 of us. They actually have a lot of storage space which is nice becuase we can really unpack. We don't use the sofa bed so the room fits us well- I think it gets cramped when the sofa bed is opened.

I'm sure most people would disagree with me, but we stayed in a BLT studio with our 3 yr old and 6 month old. We had plenty of room for storage / bags etc. But even with kids, if we put the sleeper sofa away we had plenty of room for them to play. We even stored 2 strollers by the entry door! So for only two people you should have more than enough space. We loved the larger kitchenette and that's why we chose to stay there.

Thanks! I think the layout with the kitchenette is the reason I'd rather stay in the BLT studio rather than the Poly.
