BLT Standard view vs BWV Boardwalk view

Looking for one night in October and these are two options I'm weighing against one another. Not exactly sure yet which parks we will be doing but probably a stronger chance of finishing out the night at Epcot or HS, small chance that we'd be at MK for MNSSHP. What are the BLT standard views of? Are all Boardwalk views awesome?

I should add we have stayed at BWV, but never at BLT.

BLT standard is lower floors, maybe blocked by monorail, parking lot or ground level view.

BWV boardwalk view is a view of the lake and boardwalk, YC and BC accross the lake, view of high Epcot fireworks.

If you are there for just one night, will you have time to enjoy the view?

is this a standard view at either BWV or BLT - in that case would go with BWV since you say you would probably be at Epcot or HS.

now if MK were your choice then BLT.

bwv standard views can be any floor (I think) - they are along the drive way leading to the lobby - like the views at the bottom (near the steam) and tennis courts at bwv. These are lower point costs than BLT

BLT standard views are on 5th floor and lower. a few a horrible (odd numbers) that face each other over a small courtyard - not my style. the others are along the cost C - even number rooms and they face BL/CR - and a few face the tennis court w/side view of the MK - you get a great view of the fireworks from these.

Know that either room will have a low probability at seven months and will likely disappear quickly if its open - you aren't likely to have a lot of time to dither. One night is more likely than several, but people will grab the one open night hoping to fill in the rest over the next seven months.
